How Canadian Business are Adapting to a Strong Canadian Dollar

In August 2010, the EDC Online Research Panel participated in a survey to help us gather insights on how Canadian exporters are adapting to a strong Canadian dollar. Results of this survey indicate that some firms are more exposed to risk than others and thus there are varying implications for their costs, competitiveness, sales, profits or growth.

This report summarizes the results of the survey and provides recommendations on how Canadian exporters can best adapt their exporting activities to benefit from a strong Canadian dollar.
