Loans
Loans provide you, the foreign buyer, with the funds necessary to finance the purchase of Canadian goods and/or services. We can provide loans directly to you or through another financial institution. We may also be able to participate in your corporate loan syndications and club deals to help meet your need for consolidated financing.Qualification
These loans can be provided to foreign companies purchasing capital goods and/or services which are typically financed over at least two years. Any foreign buyer of Canadian goods and/or services can inquire about our financing services. Certain documentation is required.
Cost
We offer competitive rates to borrowers based on credit quality, general market conditions, and the length of repayment terms being considered. An exposure fee may be charged in connection with our export financing, consistent with OECD guidelines.
