EDC Marks UN International Anti-Corruption Day
December 9th has been designated by the United Nations (UN) as International Anti-Corruption Day, a day to raise awareness about how businesses and governments can ensure ethical practices.Fighting corruption is a global concern because corruption undermines democracy and the rule of law, leads to human rights violations, distorts markets, erodes quality of life and allows organized crime, terrorism and other threats to human security to flourish. It is also a dominant factor driving fragile countries towards state failure.
We hope that EDC’s customers will join us in marking International Anti-Corruption Day by:
- Taking our Anti-Corruption Day Quiz to test your knowledge of business ethics
