Andrea Stairs Krishnappa was appointed to EDC’s Board of Directors in June 2018. A customer-centric, and results-driven leader, Ms. Stairs has extensive experience serving Fortune 300 e-commerce and retail companies in strategic and operational leadership roles. As GM of eBay’s Canadian and Latin American businesses, she restructured operations leading to increased efficiency and growth. As VP and CMO of eBay’s US marketplace, she drove consideration and share gains in the highly competitive US e-commerce market. Ms. Stairs is currently VP, Organizational Transformation, eBay Global Markets, and President of eBay Canada (Nov. 2022). After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, Ms. Stairs obtained JD and MBA degrees from the University of Toronto. She is also the recipient of the Women’s Executive Network’s Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award, in the Corporate Executive category.
