Coralus x EDC– Growing Global - Activator Cohort 
Next intake: Spring 2023 (date to be announced)

  • Apply for a Gifted Activation and join the Coralus x EDC - Growing Globally Cohort to get the skills and connections to take your business international, in partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC). 
  • Export Development Canada (EDC) is dedicated to helping Canadian women and non-binary owned and -led businesses succeed on the global stage by providing the financial solutions and knowledge to help them confidently enter new markets, reduce financial risk, and grow their business. 
  • Coralus (formerly SheEO), and EDC have partnered together to create a cohort of activators of women and non-binary business owners looking to grow internationally.

To be eligible to participate in this cohort, applicants must:

  • Must be a woman or non-binary founder or owner of a Canadian registered business
  • Must be a Canadian resident 
  • Must be a revenue generating business and have been in operation for at least two years 
  • Must have an export growth business objective (e.g., have an export plan, desire to grow sales internationally, or already be selling outside of Canada) 
  • Commit to completing two short surveys to help us best serve you and better design future programs throughout the year 
  • Commit to attending 6 bi-monthly 1.5-hour group sessions, to the best of your ability. We understand there may be competing priorities but know a richer experience is offered to all with the full cohort.
  • We highly encourage participants of all diverse backgrounds (i.e.., Indigenous peoples, Black other racialized communities, persons with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQ+ community) to participate

Upon application you will receive access to EDC’s Going Global: Empowering women through trade guide, which offers insights to help Canadian women-owned businesses succeed internationally. This is just one of many knowledge resources we will be able to provide you with along this journey.
