Sonia Vieira is a Global Trade Director at Export Development Canada with more than 15 years of experience in the agri-food sector. In her role, Sonia helps Canadian companies overcome trade barriers and make connections to international buyers.
An avid world traveller—she’s visited more than 80 countries—Sonia has developed key relationships across multiple business sectors worldwide. Her extensive skillset includes speaking four languages and having a broad understanding of cultural diversity, global trade, financing and insurance.
With a passion for food, she believes she’s truly found her calling.
