Today Export Development Canada (EDC) was named among Canada’s Top 100 Employers. The list recognizes Canadian employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees, assessing businesses for their physical environments, performance management, and employee benefits. The annual ranking was released today by Mediacorp Inc., a specialty publisher of employment-related periodicals, and published in the Globe and Mail.

As part of its evaluation of EDC, Mediacorp highlighted a number of workplace features and employee programs that make EDC an employer of choice. EDC was recognized for its health benefits, leave policies and its academic scholarships for children of employees who are interested in pursuing post-secondary education. EDC was also recognized for awarding scholarships for undergraduate university or college students interested in pursuing a career or furthering their studies in international business.
The award will be presented at the 2016 Top Employer Summit taking place in Vancouver on November 14, 2016.
