Long-term funding plan

Our funding program satisfies the cash requirements that arise from its lending activities and the repayment of maturing borrowings. In 2024, our funding program is targeted to raise US $12-14 billion in long-term debt securities. We will monitor trends and respond to inquiries in the marketplace to make issuance viable.

As a frequent international issuer, we customize debt offerings to respond to investors portfolio requirements by providing a range of products in a variety of structures and currencies. To achieve our funding target of US $12-14 billion we will pursue global benchmark bonds, G8 currencies, emerging market currencies, callable bonds, and private placements.

EDC bonds are included in the following indices:

  • Barclays - Global Aggregate
  • Barclays - US Aggregate Indices
  • BofA/ML US High Grade Index
  • Citi - EuroDollar Index
  • Citi - US Broad Investment Grade Bond Index (USBIG)
  • Citi - World Broad Investment Grade Bond Index (WorldBIG)

Short-term funding plan

Our 2024 short-term funding is accomplished through our global commercial paper programs.
