An entrepreneur at heart, Amber has worked with a range of organizations—from non-profits to multinational corporations. Born and raised in the Thompson-Okanagan region of British Columbia, she started out in the food & beverage industry, specifically wine, tea, and hospitality, before moving into international business development in information communications technology (ICT).  In her current role, she coaches entrepreneurs and small business owners on how to build a strong export plan, effective marketing strategies and brand awareness.
