Thomas Cambien is a senior manager of Global Transaction Banking & Project Financing at CAE Inc. Based in Montreal, QC, he manages the tech company’s global banking across 35 countries, as well as treasury operations, trade finance and financing activities. 

Cambien has worked for close to 15 years in corporate finance for public companies across Canada and Europe, with a focus on financing, capital investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financial management.

In 2020, he relocated to Germany and assumed the role of contract and finance officer for one of CAE’s European joint-venture companies in the defence sector.

Prior to joining CAE in 2017, he started his career at Bombardier Inc. and held various positions in supply chain, structured finance, treasury functions and credit risk and aircraft securitization.

Cambien graduated from Hautes études commerciales (HEC) in Montreal with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He’s also a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charter-holder.
