Discover the challenges Canadian SMEs face in reducing their carbon emissions in our recent survey
Canada’s successful transition to net zero will only be possible if small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an active role.
To support Canada’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050, Export Development Canada (EDC) and The Conference Board of Canada’s Global Commerce Centre partnered on a SME survey to understand where they are in their net zero transition and how aware they are of the steps to take to get to net zero emissions.
We built a framework to guide the design of the SME survey, which is explained in The path to net zero: A primer on how to assess SME progress. Click here to view that report.
From our survey, we discovered that respondents face myriad challenges in implementing strategies to improve energy efficiencies and reduce waste. For the full results and to learn more, click below.
