Despite the decline in the number of Canadian exporters over the past 15 years, the value of Canada’s commercial goods trade grew by almost 40% with medium-sized exporters (100-500 employees) leading the charge. In 2019, more than 50,500 goods exporters racked up $553 billion of trade.
