Artificial Intelligence

To provide you with the most relevant information and content on this Site, EDC uses predictive artificial intelligence in order to analyze information about you, your company, and the content you view on this Site (“Your Information”). Your Information may be combined with similar information about other users of this site, or MyEDC account holders, and analyzed at an aggregate level for the purposes of improving the relevancy of content provided. By using this Site, you grant EDC a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use Your Information for this purpose. Your Information will not be shared with third parties, except as explicitly set out in the Privacy Notice

Limitation of Liability

Neither EDC, its agents, employees, directors, officers and affiliated companies, nor any person associated with the creation of this Site or its contents shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, third party, consequential damages or any other damages, losses or expenses however caused, sustained by you or any other person as a result of the use of this Site and/or any web browser, including any liability for:

Official Languages Act

EDC is bound by the Official Languages Act and relevant Treasury Board policies and all EDC information is available in both French and English. However, any information on this Site which is provided by independent parties is available only in the language in which it was provided.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any issue or dispute relating to this Site will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. By using this Site you are hereby consenting and submitting to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario in any action or dispute related to these Terms of Use or any issue in respect of this Site.
